How can I open an Australian bank account?

Hi, I’m new here. I just need to know is there a way I can get some information on how to open a bank account in AU, I tried to find a resource online with what are the documents required. But I couldn’t.

Also, I’m from India and which bank would you recommend as an International student from India.

I generally advise people to go with one of the more established banks such as Commbank or Westpac. You really can’t go wrong with either bank
